Today we took a test on the five religions. I went into class feeling confident I would ace it. The front side I went through super fast, but the back had a few questions I wasn't too sure of. I enjoyed taking the test and I think I did really well on it. I don't know how I feel about switching classes though be cause I like this class. I hope I learn fun stuff in western civ so I can do as well on those tests as I did on Human Geo tests.

Today in class we went over the five religions and talked about Buddhist Coans, which are questions such as, what did you look like before your parents were born. I think this is very interesting and It really makes me think. I'm very interested in these religions, especially Buddhism. I say this because there's no pressure to believe in the religion, its a choice and a way of life. I'm very excited ti take the test because I really think I'll ace it. I'm going to study really hard and hopefully I'll get my grade up to a B.

Today in class we reviewed for our religion test next week. I enjoy learning about this and I'm excited to ace the test. I'm trying to get my grade up because I'm really close to getting a b. I'm going to try to go the the pow wow this weekend to get 10 points, hopefully I'll remember. I've really like the past semester in this class and I'd like to stay in this class but I'm moving to Western Civilization with Mr. Fendrick, which I'm nervous about because I don't know him that well. I'm sure it'll still be an interesting and fun learning experience.
Today's class was only forty five minutes so it went by really fast. We got this packet that is like ten pages long. Mr. Schick went over it with us and told us important things that would be on our test. We read through some things and highlight important things to study. We have a twenty five point quiz coming up and I hope I do well because it is the last one of the quarter and semester one. Unfortunately, I fell asleep while going over so I missed like the last part of the review. Our test is on the 17th of January so we still have some times before it. Mr. Schick also told us some stuff that would be on our test. It doesn't sound too hard, but it is basically on the four major religions. There will be twenty five questions and it is all multiple choice.
The 4 basic Vedic texts used by Hindus are the  Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda and  Atharva Veda . The Rig Veda is organized in 10 books and is the oldest veda, it has 1,028 hymns. the Same Veda is a collection of melodies and chants, its also called "The Book of Song", it has 1,017 hymns. The Yajur Veda is a description of how religious ceremonies should be preformed, the word "Yajur" means worship and "Veda" means knowledge, it has 1,017 hymns. Atharva Veda is A collection of 20 books with chants, spells, and prayers, it has 730 hymns.  Indulgences were slips of paper that supposedly sent you to heaven and pardoned you from the punishments of your sins. The early Roman church issued these as a reward for good people. This gave the church too much power.  Martin Luther  disagreed with this because he believed that only God should decide who goes to heaven or not.  Indulgence | Roman Catholici...
